My thanks to the author and the publisher for sending me a copy to review

and to Rachel at Rachel's Random Resources for inviting me to take part on the tour.

Synopsis

One month to pretend... or one month to fall in love?

How do I turn down an overly keen colleague I have zero interest in dating? Should I:

Stammer and bluster my way through every excuse in the book

Accept and then immediately turn in my resignation letter, change my number and leave the country.

Allow my hot, new, doctor neighbour to step in and pretend to be my boyfriend

The answer: there are no right answers.

But option 3 is happening and I’m fake dating Lucas just to survive my work Christmas party without any further unwanted advances.

My Review

This is a perfect Christmas read for those dark winter nights where you need to close the curtains, light the fire, get yourself a lovely warming mug of hot chocolate and cosy down with a light- hearted easy read.

Only for Christmas fits this bill perfectly and I was rewarded with a lovely afternoon and evening's reading which left me with a warm glow at the end, plus the yearning to visit Scotland again !!!!!!!

Tracy has created some lovely characters within her story; some you will warm to , others you will hate and many you will be able to recognise in friends and people around you. The story flows along easily, chapter by chapter suing the days leading up to Christmas as the chapter headings which really sets the timeline well. The descriptive writing  feeds your imagination so that you can picture the characters and the settings they are in easily.

For me this was a lovely 5 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 read and I hope you enjoy it as much as I did. I'm looking forward to reading more from Tracy in the near future.

About the Author

Tracy started writing in her late twenties, song lyrics, sketches for pantomimes and short stories, before venturing into the wonderful world of novel writing. She describes her writing style as modern tales of romance, with engaging quirky characters, who overcome adversity, grow as people and conclude in satisfying optimistic endings. When Tracy isn’t writing, she enjoys amateur dramatics and can regularly be found dressing up in various strange costumes and prancing about the stage pretending to be all manner of odd characters!
