Rick’s brother Sam might be able to help, but he’s a fugitive from the law himself, on nobody’s side but his own.

In too deep

As Sam and Rick are drawn into a vast criminal web, allegiances are tested to the limit. mistrusted by his bosses, and targeted by a deadly enemy out for revenge, Rick must decide where his true loyalties lie.

My Review

Gosh, where to start with this incredible book that I could not put down for anything.  Compulsive read is too tame a statement for this mind- blowing cleverly written novel. This is not a short read , just under 400 pages, but the world had to stand still whilst I read, and finished it. This is a book that has everything you would expect , and more , from a crime thriller. The descriptive writing , especially of the primary characters is exceptional and makes you feel as though you have known them for years, or that you would never want to get to know them. The description of the setting of the murky and industrial areas of London sets the picture for what evolves throughout the book.

Everything is in this drama, drugs, money laundering, vigilantes , betrayal, greed and family ties. This is the type of story that could have been separated into four books but instead is cleverly and expertly written into one. There is something for everyone and more . Just when you feel that you are on top of what is happening another door is opened for you and you are taken on a different rollercoaster route through another link. In my mind Sam would make an incredible 007 !!!!!

I was so captivated by this that I wanted to , and did, get the previous book Dead Man Walking,  not that it is necessary as Blood Debt is a complete standalone in it’s own write.
